Questions I find annoying and impossible to answer
In conversations with people when they find out I’m a twin:
Them: “Oh is it a brother or a sister?”
Me: “I have a brother, his name is Gavin”
Them: “Are you identical?”
My possible answers to this are:
1) No
2) Think about that
3) pretend that I don’t hear the question right and ask them again, just to make sure they are being that stupid.
Another question that goes along with this is:
“Oh, what’s it like to be a twin”
-How am I supposed to answer this? Usually it’s “I don’t know, what is it like not being a twin?”
Most recently since graduating from college I’ve been asked about a hundred times How does it feel to be a college graduate?
Again, I don’t know, it feels like i’m on summer break. I’m going back to school and am doing MCAT study stuff all summer, so it’s not really like I’m moving on from school. I don’t think I’ll really know how to answer that until I don’t go back to classes in August. But maybe that is just me.
